Susan Boyle: Anxiety to Album Simon Cowell, judge of “Britain’s Got Talent,” recently admitted that he made mistakes while managing Susan Boyle’s career. The “Britain’s Got Talent” runner-up was recently hospitalized for emotional and physical exhaustion after her unbelievable singing ability exploded into the media. Cowell did not realize the impact the show and fame would have on the 47-year-old Scottish spinster. He states he assumed she could handle her worldwide fame, when she obviously could not. When the hype died down after the show ended the British media began to turn against the singer, even doubting her ability until more television performances were scheduled. Being announced runner-up got to Boyle as well as the public following the show. After becoming hospitalized for her anxiety she began canceling shows and appearances. Boyle has recovered from her exhaustion and is flying out to London to work on music with Cowell. She will also prepare for her tour with fellow “Britain’s Got Talent” artists. Cowell has recently stated that he understands the situation behind Boyle and wants to do all he can for her and her album, even if it means canceling the deal so she can enjoy her old life again. It’s doubtful that’d she could ever be a normal Brit again since her fame and meltdowns still cover the media.
